Diggin Balls – Region 3 (Maple Grove, MN)

We are a passionate and fun-loving flyball club that welcomes all breeds and skill levels. We are a flyball club that thrives on teamwork, fun, and community. While we love the excitement of racing, what truly sets us apart is our commitment to enjoying every aspect of the sport—both on and off the lanes. We believe flyball is more than just competition; it’s about building friendships, supporting one another, and being an active part of the larger flyball community.

Our team is hands-on and involved in every way. Whether it’s training, volunteering at tournaments, traveling to events, or just cheering each other on, we show up and give it our all. Good sportsmanship is at the heart of what we do, and we celebrate not just our own successes but also those of our fellow competitors.

Most importantly, we create an environment where both dogs and handlers can enjoy the game to the fullest. Whether we’re racing, training, or just spending time together, we’re here to have a great time and make lasting memories as a team.

Many of our members are passionate about more than just flyball, actively competing in other dog sports like agility, disc, dock diving, and scent work. This variety not only strengthens our bond with our dogs but also helps us grow as handlers.

Our club believes in positive, motivational training, including treats, toys, and most of all, PRAISE. The best part of our flyball club is the bond that is created between owner and their dog(s), as well as the friendships that are part of our club.

BOTC Flyball believes there is a place in Flyball for every dog, no matter the breed or speed. We believe in playing Flyball for FUN! – having fun as a team, with our local Flyball community and most importantly, having fun with our dogs!!

We are a small group of friends with a passion for the sport. Most of us train & compete in other sports together including: Obedience/Rally, Agility, Barn Hunt and Lure Coursing! We always encourage and cheer each other on, no matter what sport we are playing.

Reborn!

BOTC Flyball was registered with NAFA as club #31 on 3/15/1999, and remained active for over ten years before the program was discontinued at BOTC. After a ten year hiatus, five club members came together to breathe new life into the team. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the team was reborn!

We are currently a small club but, we are looking to grow! We do offer flyball classes twice a year (fall/winter & spring). Those interested in classes can reach us at botcflyball@gmail.com for information on the next class session.
