AWARDS IMPACTED BY COVID-19 - FY2020 and FY2021
IRON DOG: The board has decided to waive the 'point earned' requirement for both FY2020 (October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020) and FY2021 (October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021) for the Iron Dog award. Dogs eligible to run in FY 2020 have been given credit for fulfilling the one-point earned requirement in FY2020, and the same will be done for FY2021 on October 1, 2021.
For FY2020 and FY2021, many clubs have not had the opportunity to participate in enough tournaments to meet the minimum requirements for the overall NAFA Awards. The board felt that parity was important when it came to these awards and therefore has come to the difficult decision that there will be no NAFA Champion, Regional Champion or Regional Overall Club Champion awards in FY2020 and FY2021.
